Position Description:
Alpha Omega Integration, which has been named a Virginia Business Best Places to work for 2012-18 with recognition such as the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Fantastic 50, and the Vanguard Top Service Company Award, is actively seeking a Communications and Policy Specialist to join our current team on an active project supporting a major federal agency.
 
The Communications and Policy Specialist will be responsible for:
Facilitate and support the Architectural Review Board (ARB)
Maintain active communication with the stakeholders
Maintain published standards and review items annually
Coordinate meetings and ensure content is delivered at least one week in advance of a meeting.
Ensure all publications are reviewed prior to release
Ensure all publications use simple plain language
Ensure all publications are communicated in simplified manner. Data should be drillable for folks that would like to see additional detail.
Document meeting minutes
Ensure a published Action Tracking report is updated weekly
Work with federal product owners to develop and publish needed standards
Develop/update Architectural Roadmap
Work on other assigned tasks, deliverables, and milestones and follow through to completion.
  
Mandatory Work Experience:
At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of management, with a diverse workforce, and with customers
Flexible and highly motivated with an excellent ability to establish relationships with and influence complex networks of others
