Position Description:
Alpha Omega Integration, which has been named a Virginia Business Best Places to work for 2012-18 with recognition such as the Virginia Chamber of Commerce Fantastic 50, and the Vanguard Top Service Company Award, is actively seeking a Unified Communications (UC) Engineer/Specialist to join our current team on an active project supporting a major federal agency.
The Unified Communications (UC) Engineer/Specialist will be responsible for:
Work on assigned tasks, deliverables, and milestones and follow through to completion.
Support the management and deployment of Polycom, Skype and MSFT Teams operational systems, phone management software and plan to deploy the Polycom devices through the enterprise.
Support Network analysis and evaluation, concept development, project plan development, deployment plan, development, test plan, testing and deployment to production of VoIP for the enterprise Support the deployment of Skype for Business deployment on the VOIP.
Implement change management practices
Support the maintenance of an updated dashboard
Conduct business analysis and develop functional workflows
Mandatory Work Experience:
At least 2+ years of supporting Skype for Business rollout. Experience with other unified communication tools is a plus.
Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of management, with a diverse workforce, and with customers
Flexible and highly motivated with an excellent ability to establish relationships with and influence complex networks of others
