Director of Finance

Alpha Omega Integration is currently searching for a Director of Finance to join our team. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, account reconciliation and profit and loss reporting. The Director of Finance will oversee all accounting activities related to income auditing, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable collection, tax compliance and payroll. Oversee financial operations of our company
Manage and provide ongoing training to accounting personnel
Conduct weekly and monthly financial assessments and generate reports to be submitted to the senior management team
Optimizing financial management operations, including banking

Maintaining reliable cash flow projection and reporting mechanism, including establishing minimums to meet operating needs
Continually improving the budgeting process, including through effective communication with managers on financial issues impacting their budgets
Allot funds for capital and other projects, price solicitations and work with Client Servises to ensure they stay on track financially via MMRs where FSRs, Dashboards are reviewed
Develop annual financial plans and projections for the company
Conduct analysis of financial risks and benefits on business initiatives
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 7+ years of direct experience in the field.
  • Experience working with Quickbooks, Unanet or Cost Point.
  • Experience working with DCAA and Government Contract accounting.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, financial statements, cashflow and financial projections
  • Proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Experience calculating and managing indirect rates & pools.
  • Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the FAR
  • Multi-company accounting experience is a plus.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, etc.)
Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent research and data collection skills.
  • Attention to detail and advanced organization skills.
  • Should be deadline and closure oriented.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment; ability to work well under tight deadlines and effectively interact with a wide range of personnel
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed for proposal preparation, including extended hours, evening/night hours, weekends, and holidays
